Some better pics of the current house colors (thanks overcast skies!). I want to paint that bench Safety Yellow… the Bauhaus Gold doesn’t have the pop I’d anticipated. Wondering too if the star would be better in a brighter color, like Jade teal instead of plum….

The finished sketch. The text will look better on the finished painted sign, which I will hopefully get to start next week.

Now entertaining the idea of adding a doorway next to the fridge & narrowing the one by the dining area….

how I would modify our existing house by adding a mirror image “bump-out” to the other side and redesigning the roofline.  I’d probably make the bump-outs extend the same amount in the rear, so that there would be a built-in covered patio.  I’d also extend all of the ceilings to the roof with timbers and eliminate the attic.
(the top pic is an old one of our house… it’s different colors with different landscaping now.)

The house painting has commenced. Goodbye peachy tan and hunter green shutters.

It’s still nowhere near done, but I’m looking forward to the Golden Avocado front door and the cement porch being painted dark brown (similar to the shutters except not metallic).  As much as I wish we could snap our fingers & have it done, it’ll likely take a good chunk of the summer - especially if this rainy weather continues.

Thank God for my brother’s paint sprayer.  3/4 of the house painted in 2 hours!
