Tabletop complete… now to decide on legs.
Some better pics of the current house colors (thanks overcast skies!). I want to paint that bench Safety Yellow… the Bauhaus Gold doesn’t have the pop I’d anticipated. Wondering too if the star would be better in a brighter color, like Jade teal instead of plum….
Four years ago, vs this year. (aka: ‘getting there’ & ‘I love the orange front door’.) Hoping to put new white posts & railing up on the front porch and build concrete stairs in front of the front door this spring/summer/fall. Also need to paint the porch & foundation & touch up the siding from last year. Never ever ends!
Somehow, my husband managed to get all of the wires sorted (including re-routing the light switch for the kitchen light from the hallway behind the fridge into the kitchen next to the sink) and put all of the sheetrock up. So happy! He is a rockstar.
(Also - please note the patched over seam on the ceiling above the fridge - apparently there was a wall there before? We are putting a wall just behind that spot tomorrow. Yay for progress & respecting the original lines of the house - there was also a wall between the kitchen & dining areas where we added the new archway… Seams on the ceiling revealed that too!)
