All of the previous posts are a result of looking through my Flickr stream. I worry when I take trips down decorating memory lane that I’m going to regret getting rid of this color or that piece of furniture or regret painting the walls white. I used to use a ton of color, EVERYWHERE, but now I’m getting to a place of appreciating the neutrals. Less competition. Less circus. Less kitsch, though still some humor. Letting lines & accents & statement pieces speak for themselves. It’s weird to look and see the evolution. Even unfinished and in the midst of construction, I prefer the rooms as they are now. I think my style is starting to grow up a little bit, gain a little bit of sophistication and cohesion. I guess that’s a good thing?
